Orientation Week

The Student Support Unit organizes the Orientation Week at the beginning of each semester, specifically for international students who are coming to study at the Instituto Superior Técnico. This program includes various activities and events integrated throughout the enrollment week. With the support of mentors, these students have the opportunity to get to know their peers, the campus where they will be studying, and experience a taste of Lisbon, including Portuguese culture and cuisine.

Athens: European Dimension

The ATHENS program consists of intensive courses lasting one week, where participants can choose between the session held in March or in November (totaling 30 hours). This program is the result of partnerships between various European universities.

In this context, NAPE organizes a cultural weekend known as “European Dimension” every semester. The main objective is to showcase a bit of Lisbon and Sintra, introducing places such as Alfama, Belém Tower, Jerónimos Monastery, Parque das Nações, and Quinta da Regaleira, providing participants with an opportunity to experience Portuguese culture.
