ULisboa Summer School

Verão na ULisboa (ULisboa Summer School) is an annual initiative of the University of Lisbon that aims to show and experience the rhythm and spirit of the academic life to students of Elementary and Secondary Schools, during one week in summer. There are programmes in the various schools of the university that address themes in the most varied areas of study. Instituto Superior Técnico has participated in this programme since its first edition in 2011, and offers programmes in each campus, seeking to give the taste and curiosity for Engineering, Architecture, Science and Technology, its pillars of knowledge, to its participants.

This program is intended for students in the 3rd cycle of Basic Education and Secondary Education.

Ciência Viva in the summer

On holidays, science takes to the streets across the country with hundreds of free participation actions, organized by Ciência Viva centres, scientific institutions, municipalities, companies and scientific associations.

Astronomie Summer School 2023

The Summer School of Astronomy (EVA) is an initiative of the Nucleus of Physics of the Instituto Superior Técnico (NFIST) aimed at promoting Astronomy and Astrophysics among the participants. This school is aimed at secondary students (10th, 11th and 12th grade) who are motivated and curious to learn and discover the world of science.

Science in the Holidays 2023 – Engineering and Geological Resources

The Department of Mineral and Energy Resources Engineering has an initiative, aimed at secondary school students (10th, 11th and 12th grades), which for four days, through Lectures, Games, Challenges, Puzzles and Workshops, participants will have the opportunity to learn and apply their knowledge in the area of Engineering and Geological Resources.
