First Steps at Técnico
WELCOME TO TÉCNICO!
We are the Student Support Unit (NAPE), and our mission is to provide assistance from the moment you apply to Técnico until you graduate. On your first day at Técnico, you will meet senior students from your course, Mentors, who will accompany you throughout your 1st Year. If you feel lost or have any questions that need clarification, do not hesitate to seek us out! We are available every day at our help desk located at the Reception of the Central Pavilion, and you can also reach us by phone or email. We are confident that we will be able to help you!

New Nacional Students (Bachelors and Masters)
If your admission was through one of the following admission regimes:
1st cycle
- National Access for Higher Education
- Institution/Course Change
- Holders of Medium or Higher Education Courses
- Candidates over 23 Years Old
2nd cycle – Master’s Degree
3rd cycle – Doctorate
International Students
You should contact the Admissions Office, which will schedule the presentation of the original documents submitted in the application to the Graduation Area (Alameda) or the Academic Management Area (Taguspark).

Mobility Programmes
If you come to study at Técnico under a mobility program like Erasmus, SMILE, or ATHENS, we have prepared reception and welcoming activities just for you!
The reception of international students is supported by our Mentors, who will guide your first steps at Técnico and become your main point of contact with Portuguese culture.
